Banned email id

I hope i am posting in the right area this is a general query to the administrators

Why in the world have u banned my alternate email id adityak27]at[gmail.com
when i have never even approached this site earlier Evil or Very Mad

Anyways I have joined this forum since i need some help in image processing thru matlab for my project. Rolling Eyes

i hope u respond to this mail as i seriously wonder why wud u do such a thing and second how could u pick my id out of nowhere

If you notice carefully, your email address in your last post is re-written. There are many software programs trolling the web to get and record such working email ids. Ones your email Id is registered in their database they will try to use it for the spam purposes. So never write you email id while posting in the forums directly, use something like mynameATyahooDotCom. Also most spam originates form the Gmail Ids so the anti spam bot may be particularly harsh towards them and blocking it.

Hi administrator,

I am new to this forum, but seems like this forum has banned my primary email address. Perhaps some spammer has use my email to register at this forum in the past.

Currently, I am using my alt email address. But I really hope to use my primary email for this forum since it's all important stuff. Is it possible to get an unban?

I have avoided stating my email address here, but it's my forum username at the xxxgmailxxx.
